Talent Is Overrated by Geoff Colvin

I really liked this book A LOT. It emphasizes that if you want to do something and really love it that eventually you will get very good at it. The New New Thing: A Silicon Valley Story by Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis is a fantastic writer, let’s get that out of the way now. He tells stories like no one else can. This book is excellent, even if it’s a bit dated. It tells the story of Jim Clark, a silicon valley entrepreneur who started Netscape an 7 Easy Steps To Eliminate Tonsil Stones d is a very rich man today. I’m Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59 by Douglas Edwards

Excellent, excellent book! This book is somewhat of a history of Google over the years and how it got to be a great company. It outlines how the company operates and thinks – which is sometimes out of the box and very unconventional. I was really Affiliate X – Software, Systems And Signals.. fond of the writing style of Mr. Edwards and hearing about how a marketing guy took a pay cut and risked everything only to be rewarded very well later on – after working his tail off. Highly recommended, a must read.

Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson

Read this book and I loved it. It was a very powerful book by Walter Isaacson. It is what it is, a biography of Steve Jobs. When I think of Jobs the first thing I think about is his creativity, because it stood out amongst the products he and his payday loan online team built and designed. He built Apple with Wozniak to become a very successful company. Then he was ousted by Apple so he built NEXT computer (This I was not aware of) and sold it to Apple. Your Brain at Work: Strategies for Overcoming Distraction, Regaining Focus, and Working Smarter All Day Long by David Rock

Really liked this book. It tells about how your brain works and how you might be able to do something better. For example, if someone tells you to do a task – you will do the task. Will you do it to the best of your ability? Well, that depends. If purchase viagra you teach someone about how they think everyday, and how they perform actions, and how they can optimize and improve those actions they will be more successful in their everyday tasks. Mr. Rock takes examples from two characters throughout the book and presents them with everyday situations.
