What Is A Futures Prop Firm

A futures prop firm is a company that allows you to trade using their platform earning money for your trading. In short they offer an evaluation and if you pass the evaluation according to the rules you will become a funded trader. This means you are not risking your own funds to trade but instead will be trading the prop firms funds. Most prop firms allow you to keep 80% to 90% of your earnings in a profit split.

You can loose your account by breaking a rule or from loosing trades that bring you down to the minimum balance per the prop firms rules.
